Seven days NSS Camp concluded at Multani Mal Modi College
NSS Unit-1 of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organized seven-day NSS Camp from March 10-16, 2021 under the supervision of NSS Program Officer Dr. Rajiv Sharma. In the closing ceremony of the camp, the College Dean Student Welfare Prof. Ved Prakash Sharma, NSS Program Officer and Dr. Harmohan Sharma also addressed the students. Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the volunteers for their efforts during the camp, he inspired them to adopt the NSS Motto ‘ME NOT BUT YOU’ as an integral part of their daily lives.
Volunteers went door-to-door during the camp to raise awareness about Covid-19. They inspired the masses to wear mask, maintain social distancing, regularly wash/sanitize hands, get vaccinated and update regularly on the guidelines issued by Health Department.
NSS Volunteers Gulmahak and Pratham Bhanot read the detailed report of the speeches, activities and games that took place during the camp. The camp included Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Sanitation Campaign, Planting Campaign, Awareness about COVID 19, importance of Voluntary Blood Donation, Workshop on Personality Building, Leadership, Cultural Program, Environmental and Social Awareness and a lecture Menstruation health. Games and activities on the topic of health and hygiene were organized so that the volunteers in sports could be aware of these topics and make their valuable contribution in social welfare works.
On the third day of this camp (March 12, 2021), a special program was organized by to build the unique personality of the volunteers by NSS Program Officer Dr. Rajiv Sharma. During the program, the volunteers identified their strengths and weaknesses through discussions, speeches and games. At the end of the day, they gained awareness of leadership multiplication through the River-Crossing game.
On Sunday, March 14, 2021, the fifth day of the seven-day camp, Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh addressed the NSS volunteers on menstrual health.
The hard work done by the volunteers at the college on the sixth day of the camp to clean up the campus was commendable.
On the seventh day of the camp on March 16, 2021 (Tuesday) Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, eminent social worker of Patiala imparted training to the volunteers on first aid, fire safety, road safety and prevention of snake bites etc.
During the camp, HIV / AIDS awareness, blood donation, women as leaders during COVID-19, essay writing, slogan writing and poster making competitions on drug and life topics were conducted. In the Hindi essay competition, Deepak came first, Himanshi second and Lovejot Sharma third. In Punjabi medium, Mahik Jindal got first, Shivcharan got second and Shubham got third place. In English medium Anshika got first, Harjeet got second, Savi Sharma and Vipanjit got third place.
In Poster Making, Tinkle came first, Navdeep Kaur and Aditi Sharma came second and Chandrashu and Gagandeep Kaur came third. In the slogan writing competition, Ritika came first, Nikita and Pooja Tuteja came second and Mohit Gupta and Gurbakhsh Singh came third.
Abhinandan Mittal, Jaskirat Oberoi, Gaurav Mittal, Shivcharan, Harpinder Singh, Pratham Bhanot, Bhavna Mahajan, Palak, Gulmahik Dhanju, Ridhi Jain, Jashanpreet and Himanshi were honored with Best Volunteer Momento. Bhavna Mahajan and Palak handled the stage well. Finally, Dr. Rajeev Sharma thanked Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, the guests and participating volunteers.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਸੱਤ-ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ ਕੈੱਪ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ
ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਯੂਨਿਟ-1 ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਹੇਠ 10 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੋਂ 16 ਮਾਰਚ 2021 ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਡੀਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵੇਦ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਮੋਹਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਦੀ ਮੋਟੋ ‘ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੂੰ’ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਜ਼ਮੱਰਾ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਅੰਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ।
ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ – ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮਾਸਕ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੋ, ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੋ ਗਜ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਦੂਰੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੋ, ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਸੈਨੀਟਾਈਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਫ਼ ਰੱਖੋ, ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦਾ ਟੀਕਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਭਲਾਈ ਮਹਿਕਮੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੰਨ-ਬਿੰਨ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੋ, ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ।
ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਗੁੱਲਮਹਿਕ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਭਨੋਟ ਨੇ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਦੀ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਪੜ੍ਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਭਾਸ਼ਣਾ, ਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੱਛ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਭਿਆਨ, ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ, ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ, ਕੋਵਿਡ 19 ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ, ਸਵੈ-ਇੱਛਕ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ, ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ‘ਤੇ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ, ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ, ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ, ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕੁਰੀਤੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਤੇ ਮਾਸਿਕ ਧਰਮ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣਾ, ਖੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਖੇਡ-ਖੇਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੁਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾ ਸਕਣ।
ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਦਿਨ (12 ਮਾਰਚ, 2021) ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਸਖਸ਼ੀਅਤ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ, ਭਾਸ਼ਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਰਾਹੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ। ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਿਵਰ-ਕ੍ਰਾਸਿੰਗ ਖੇਡ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਗੁਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ 14 ਮਾਰਚ, 2021, ਐਂਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਨਸਟਰੁਅਲ ਹੈਲਥ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਈਜੀਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਲਈ ਡਾ. ਗੌਰਵ ਗੌਰ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਲ-ਵੱਰਕ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੁੁੱਜੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਤੇ ਸਰਲ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆਨ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵੀਡਿਓਜ਼ ਤੇ ਡੀਮੋਨਸਟਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿੱਥਕ ਡਾ. ਗੌਰਵ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਸੋਚ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਛੇਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸ਼੍ਰਮਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਇਸ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ 16 ਮਾਰਚ, 2021 (ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ) ਨੂੰ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਘੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਾਕਾ ਰਾਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ, ਫਾਇਰ ਸੇਫਟੀ, ਰੋਡ ਸੇਫਟੀ, ਸੱਪ ਢੰਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਅ ਆਦਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਜਾਗਰੁਕ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਟੀਫ਼ਿਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਡਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਐਚ.ਆਈ.ਵੀ./ਏਡਜ਼ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ, ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਮਹਾਦਾਨ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲੀਡਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਨਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲੇਖ ਰਚਨਾ, ਸਲੋਗਨ ਲੇਖਨ ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ। ਲੇਖ ਰਚਨਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀਪਕ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਤੇ ਲਵਜੋਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਕ ਜਿੰਦਲ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਸ਼ਿਵਚਰਨ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਸ਼ਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਹਰਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਤੇ ਵਿਪਨਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿੰਕਲ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਦੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਤੇ ਚੰਦਰਸ਼ੂ ਅਤੇ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਸਲੋਗਨ ਲੇਖਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਤੀਕਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਨੀਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਟੁਟੇਜਾ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਅਭਿਨੰਦਨ ਮਿੱਤਲ, ਜਸਕੀਰਤ ਓਬਰਾਏ, ਗੌਰਵ ਮਿੱਤਲ, ਸ਼ਿਵਚਰਨ, ਹਰਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਭਨੋਟ, ਭਾਵਨਾ ਮਹਾਜਨ, ਪਲਕ, ਗੁਲਮਹਿਕ ਧੰਜੂ, ਰਿੱਧੀ ਜੈਨ, ਜਸ਼ਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮੋਮੈਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਭਾਵਨਾ ਮਹਾਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਲਕ ਨੇ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਆਏ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
